Pro-Cal Services was incorporated and started in September 2004 in the State of Oregon.  Pro-Cal’s founder, Bob Gilbert, spent 20 years working in many different positions for the World’s largest bulk, cylinder, and specialty gases manufacturer, Air Liquide.  Bob’s responsibility for the past 10 years was starting and managing the toxic gases calibration and testing services for Air Liquide.

Bob’s experience and outstanding reputation in the gas detection industry allowed him to start his own business after leaving his former employer.  Pro-Cal continues providing calibration and testing services to many of the same customers.  Pro-Cal is moving into expanding markets with growing needs for third party service providers.

Bob earned a BS in Computer Science, took business management courses at City University, and trained in many different areas of compressed gases technology and applications while working at Air Liquide.  Bob continues to expand his knowledge in the toxic gas detection field by working closely with many of the gas detection manufacturers.
